Swimming and Fourth of July Weekend

We had such a fun July 4th weekend. Daddy and I got off early Friday and we all went out together. I wanted to buy a bigger inflatable pool so that Sadie and Lucas could play in it, but they were sold out at Walmart, so we stuck with Lucas's old baby pools....they did they trick : ).

That Friday, we took Lucas to his first movie and it was a hit!!! You were sooo good and loved the "big TV screen." Popcorn is your favorite snack with lemonade, so you were so happy! You ate popcorn for an hour, so we actually had to stop you because we didn't want you stomach to hurt! So proud of you!

Sadie came to. After her water and a little cuddling, you fell asleep the entire movie, which was good! You are such a good baby!

After the movie, we went to Barnes and Noble to look at books and play, then we headed to Yogurt Mountain for ice cream! Yum!

Such a big boy feeding himself ice cream! You love sprinkles, so we got you plenty of them. (Parents of the year...popcorn and icecream for supper : ).

Sunday at church, we had a corn hole tournament and fellowship. Then, on Monday, we ate at Grandma and Grandpa's and then went to Foster Park for fireworks.

Lucas loved the fireworks. We got Lucas a big sword that lit up and 2 blue snow cones that both Sadie and Lucas enjoyed!

Playing Outside, Memorial Day, Adeline's Gender Reveal

During the summer months, I get off of work and we come home, start supper and go straight outside. Thankfully, I get off at 3:30 so we have lots of time to play and have fun. 

Lucas wanted to help daddy take care of the bushes outside.

Memorial Day weekend at church! I LOVE to dress you in matching outfits! I know I am biased, but you are the two most beautiful children!!

Of course, it is hard getting that perfect shot with a 7 month old and a 2 1/2 year old, but I love it!

On Memorial Day, we went to Uncle Colby and Aunt Ashley's house for their gender reveal party! It was a girl!!! Her name will be Adeline and we cannot wait to meet her!

You car seat was in Uncle Colby and Aunt Ashley's car from when I was on bedrest, but we recently got it back to put into Daddy's car...however, you like it as a recliner... lol

My heart skips a beat when I see this picture... Lucas, you are such a sweet big brother. You have a kind, gentle, and humble personality. Sadie, you adore your brother and you are so loving. So blessed!!

7 Months Old!

This has been a super busy month! You are still wearing some 6-9 month clothes, but mostly 12 months! Still size 3 diapers. You still drink 5 oz at a time with you bottles when I am at work and eat ~6 times/day. You are doing awesome with baby food. You eat any fruit/veggie combo that I give, except for ones with peas or green beans. You eat a half or a whole pack at night. I am going to start incorporating some at brunch soon. You are doing so well with eating and drinking still! You get up on your hands and legs and rock back and forth...I think you will be crawling very soon. You are starting to say a lot of consonant-vowel combos. You like to call me "nene" when you get mad : ). You are so funny and get really upset if we take away toys you like. I LOVE your expression when I come see you at lunch. You start squealing and kicking and I love it! The downside is that you are starting to cry for me when I leave, and I hate that part : (. Breaks my heart every time! You still follow your brother everywhere he goes. Once you start crawling, you are going to be right behind him at all times I think. I have started giving you and Lucas baths together because you are sitting up so well now. You like to cover your face up with a blanket and pull it down for peek-a-boo. You are such a friendly baby and so loving. Your smile brightens up a room instantly. We love you so much!!!
