4 months old!

Not 4 months already! I cannot believe it. You are laughing out loud A LOT now and we cannot get enough of it. You love it when Daddy plays peek-a-boo with you. You had a great 4 month check up. Below are your 4 month stats:
Weight: 14.53 lbs (32.41 percentile)
Length: 25 inches (46.82 percentile)
Head Circumference: 16.34 inches (48.81 percentile)

You are growing SO much. You are still in 3-6 month clothes and size 2 diapers. You are still eating 4.5 ounces during the day now with 1 rice cereal bottle at night. We are going to try baby food with you soon for the first time. You are still rolling over to your belly some, just not consistently yet. You are beginning to stay awake for longer periods during the day and go to bed around 8:30 at night. Sometimes you are still asleep when I leave for work at 6:45, but I think I am going to start waking you up to at least change your diaper before I leave so that I can see that pretty smile before I leave. Going to work does not get easier but I am thankful to have a job and thankful that the Lord gave me one so close to home. I miss you soo much when I am gone. Here are a few pics from this month.

You have discovered your feet and you love to use them to touch things now. You also love for Daddy to blow on them.

What is this monkey doing in my picture?

Looking like your Grandpa.

Sitting in Daddy's lap at the doctor's office. We took you to the doctor because you were running a 99 temp...we were just worried. You were perfectly fine...we just wanted to make sure : ).

3 months

I cannot believe you are 3 months old. You are wearing 3-6 month clothes now and size 2 diapers. You are also starting to laugh out loud and I absolutely LOVE it. You are eating 4.5 oz about every 2 hours when you are awake. You are still sleeping through the night. We gave you your first rice cereal bottle at 3 months, 2 weeks old and you loved it. We also put you in your crib for the first time and you loved it! You love to stretch out. You like to put your head touching the bumper. We moved the crib into our bedroom...I wasn't ready for you to be away from me yet : ). You also was sick for the first time with RSV. Thankfully, you did not have it too bad, but I stayed out of work with you and we had to give you a couple of breathing treatments and you hated them. I was thankful that you mainly just slept through it. You were not very fussy.
You also had your first Christmas this year and you got many, many presents. Christmas was so much fun to celebrate with you and I am so thankful for you.

Here are a few pics from this month:

You know how to pout.

Your first Christmas party.

You with cousin Natalie.
And cousin Nathan. You looked grumpy sitting beside him, but you had a good time.

One of your favorite toys that you got from Uncle Eddie and Aunt Rhonda.

In your first suit the Sunday before Christmas day.

Our first family Christmas picture at church.

A picture with all of your stuff from Grandma and Grandpa only! How spoiled : )

Laughing in your Christmas pajamas.

Christmas Day we had a service a church that morning. You were very good and slept through it all.

Your first pair of real blue jeans.

Your monkey outfit and 2nd pair of shoes. You wore boots on christmas day, but it hard to see them in the pictures above.

Your first time sleeping in your crib. You loved it!

Mama and Daddy love you Lucas and we are so thankful to have you this Christmas. What joy you have brought to our lives and I cannot wait to watch you grow in the Lord and see what God has planned for you.

2 months old!

You love to talk. Your favorite thing to do is to get your diaper changed and talk without any clothes on. You are on 0-3 month clothes now and when you are awake, you eat every 2 hours. You wear size 1 diapers. Your are smiling a lot more now when mamma and daddy make funny faces at you. You like to kick your legs as much as possible. At your 2 month appointment, your stats were:
                                                  Weight: 10 pounds 14 ounces (20.85 percentile)
                                                  Height: 22 inches (12.9 percentile)
Head Circumference: 12.88 inches (15.95 percentile)

Here are are few pics from this month. It was a very busy month and you learned a lot of new things.:

Your cool under armor outfit daddy bought for you. You wore it out to eat at The Peddler. We went out with Uncle Colby, Aunt Ashley, Uncle Lee, and Aunt Kacie. It was the first time you went out to eat at a sit down restaurant.

Your first time talking a stroll around the block. You were not very happy about it. We only made it up the hill, then you wanted a bottle. Bad planning on my part.

Your 2 month pics. You started to discover your hands this month and you do not know what to do with them.

Your first shots. It broke my heart to see you happy and smiling and then crying the next. I hated going to the doctor for them.

Your first time wearing a hat at church. Unfortunately, you have skin like me, so your head broke out with your first rash. But, after some ointment, it went away within a few days.

Your first Thanksgiving. I loved your shirt..Mommy's little turkey.

You started trying to grab objects with those hands you discovered this month.

Your first Clemson game!

You are starting to hold your head up really well!

You started sitting in your Bumbo seat.

Decorating your first Christmas tree!

Your first Christmas pics for our Christmas card.

One Month Old!

Your first month of life flew by. I was sad to see it go because that meant it was getting close for the time for me to go back to work. At 1 month old, you had already started rolling over. No, it was not consistent, but you did it and that is all that matters : ).  At six weeks old, you started sleeping through the night. It was the night I had to go back to work the next day. You were a sweet baby. Daddy went back to work a week after you were born and we missed him very much. But, I had lots of help from the grandmas. You were really such a good baby though, I did not need much help. Your newborn clothes finally started to fit you better. You quickly grew out of the 2 ounce bottle and we had to move you up near the 2 month mark to 2.5 then 3 oz.  At your one month check up, your stats were:
                                                                  Weight: 7 lbs 12.5 oz 6.42 percentile
                                                                  Length: 20.5 inches 13.19 percentile
Head Circumference: 13.9 inches 7.54 percentile

You were not too excited about taking your month pictures.

At six weeks old, you went with me for my check up. Uncle Colby came along and you went to your first restaurant.

You also went to Toys R Us for the first time with momma and daddy. You slept most of the time.

Your big boy outfit at church.

We thank God for you every day and we are so thankful that he chose us to be your parents!
