10 months!

Lucas, I just thought that last month was a major milestone month, but I think this month may have topped it! It is so amazing to watch you grow and learn. You are babbling even more and mine and Daddy's favorite word for you to say is "ooookay." At least that is what it sounds like you say. You actually took your first steps this month while we were on vacation at the beach. I was sooo happy that Daddy and I were both there to see them. Daddy was practicing with you and then he let you go and you took 3 steps! You are beginning to eat lots of regular food now. You love french fries, chicken, scallops, turkey, mac and cheese, broccoli and cheese. You also love your water ice cold. You will drink breast milk warm or cold. You love to be outside and we try to go on walks or I give you a bath in your swimming pool and much as possible. Summer will be over soon and we will not be able to enjoy as many days outside. Uncle Colby and Aunt Ashley got married and we love talking walks up to their house and seeing Bailey. You absolutely love dogs. You are still wearing 12 and 18 month clothes and are in a size 4 diapers. You are crawling everywhere and crawl up the steps now at church. You also love being around other children and babies. At the wedding rehearsal dinner, you had so much fun talking with one of Aunt Ashely's little cousins that was  around your age. We are excited that Uncle Lee and Aunt Kacie will be having a little cousin for you to play with in January!
You hate being in your car seat now. It is a struggle just to put you in. I think you hate being confined now that you are so mobile. You are so funny and just love to laugh. You laugh all of the time and we love it. You have mastered walking with the walker now that you have taken your first steps. You also love the refrigerator. Every time I open the door, you speed crawl and take out the soy sauce bottle. You also love to crawl with something in your mouth. Daddy says you are just multitasking. Unfortunately, I do not have any pictures from the actual wedding....you had a melt down after the ceremony during the pictures. You did okay during the wedding when Daddy took you down the aisle. Cousin Nikki had to take you out during the ceremony. When it was time for pictures, you were tired and cried longer and harder than you have every cried since you have been born. All of the pictures with Uncle Colby and Aunt Ashley you are crying. I think you were just mad because you were passed around because mama and daddy were in the wedding and you were just tired. You went to sleep immediately on the ride to the reception. I felt so bad for you! We love you! Happy 10 months!
